PAYMENT AND
BILLING FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS Q)... Is my credit card charged at the time I place my order?
A)... No. Your card is debited only when items in your order actually ship and not at the time your order is placed.
Q)... Are there any differences in paying with a credit card versus a debit card?
A)... The main difference is that most credit card companies charge a customer's account when items are provided -- in our case, at the time the items are shipped. In contrast, most debit bank cards reserve funds at the time of the original transaction, making it appear as if payment has been collected.
Q)... Why am I being charged tax?
A)... In accordance with state law, we are required to charge sales tax on orders shipped to customers living in Michigan.
Q)... Why did I receive a declined credit card notice?
A)...We were unable to receive authorization from your bank or credit card company. Reasons for the decline include: insufficient funds, incorrect billing address or expiration dates, incomplete or inaccurate number. If you received a declined notice, please contact us.
Q)... How do international custom fees affect my order?
A)...Custom and import duties do not affect the prices we charge for items or shipping. However, these fees are customary in many countries outside the United States and vary from country to country. We recommend contacting the local customs office for details on how these charges are assessed and applied.
